Boards and Commissions Fact Sheets Below is an alphabetical listing of Bexar County Boards and Commissions. Created for each Board or Commission is a short summary titled "Fact Sheet", which describes the purpose, authority, composition, meeting and contact information. The list has two categories, one identified as External Boards and Commissions, which is comprised of a broad representation of volunteers and in some cases includes Bexar County staff. The other is identified as Internal Boards and Commissions, and is comprised entirely of County staff. In addition to the ongoing boards and commissions listed, the Commissioners Court from time to time also appoint groups to address specific, short-term concerns.
