Freeman Coliseum - $10 Million

     

  Status: 

Renovation in process

 

Proposed improvements include replacement of lower seating bowl with retractable seating system, aesthetic improvements to Coliseum exterior and concourses. Replacement of major mechanical systems to include:

• Heating, Ventilation, Air conditioning Systems (HVAC)
• Fire Safety System Upgrades
• ADA Accessibility Enhancements

This new 315,900 sq. ft. climate controlled facility will host the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo 2010 Horse Show. Features include;

• A competition arena measuring 125 feet wide by 300 feet long
• 126 prime commercial exhibit spaces
• Climate controlled warm-up arena and show arena
• 1,500 spectator seats
• Approximately 750 new stalls
• Indoor wash racks
• Improved unloading areas for trailers

                     

AT&T Center - $75 Million

    STATUS:

• Letter of Intent Drafted
• Projected Opening: Improvements Commence in 2012

Proposed improvements provide for expanded and additional features designed to enhance the patrons' experience, technology and infrastructure improvements to amplify the operation of the AT&T Center to maintain the competitive nature of the building in the market place in which it is operated.

AT&T CENTER STATS:

• Overall Size: 750,000 square feet
• Playing Surface: Hockey Rink 200 x 85 square feet, WNBA and NBA Court 120 x 60 square feet
• Basketball Seating: 18,797
• Hockey Seating: 13,400
• Concert Seating: 17,444 maximum capacity
• Parking: 7,000 plus on-site parking spaces
• Gates: 2, located at west and east entrances
• Escalators: 4, with two each at north and south concourses connecting the Plaza with the Balcony level
• Elevators: 7, (one Northwest, two Northeast, two Southwest and two Southeast)
• Locker Rooms: 4, with auxiliary space in each
• Luxury Suites: 60 in various seating solutions
• Restrooms: 16 Men's Restrooms / 16 Women's Restrooms, all with changing stations
